Nylon Hair Paint Brushes – Versatile and Durable
Nylon hair brushes offer excellent elasticity and wear resistance, making them ideal for use with acrylic paints, poster colors, and gouache. They are less suitable for oil paints, which tend to be heavier and thicker in texture.
Compared to natural hair brushes, nylon brushes are more durable and resilient. They have stronger spring-back than wool brushes, lower water absorption, but are easier to clean and more controllable—especially well-suited for beginners and practice work.
